Ooty!

We are in Ooty again!

Mom and I took the bus up on Thursday and we will see A.Jay and be here until Sunday. On the ride up, the day was cloudy and misty and the 'hill' we climb to get up here is 8,500 Ft. We were about half way up and could look down on the clouds resting on the smaller hills. They cascaded down the ridges of the hills and looked like gigantic waterfalls! It was so beautiful!

And, there is a eucalyptus forest/plantation that we ride through. With the mist and huge trees as far as the eye can see, you'd almost expect tree nymphs or fawns to peek out! It really was beautiful!

Today morning we went to the market and I (mom) bought material for a winter skirt I am going to have made! It is 'laker'- Afrikaans for 'very nice'. We also got the umbrella mended and bought some shoes and all sorts of fun stuff!!!

This afternoon, we are going to pick A.Jay up after school and he will stay with us this evening, playing games... whatever, should be fun!
