Sunday School

I have been teaching Sunday School lately and yesterday we were talking about heaven and what it will be like.

I told them that there would be gates of pearls and streets of gold. I asked them if they had ever seen any gold, like on their mother's wedding rings. I asked Miss Davinka-the helper- to show her ring. I told them to look at her ring to see what gold was like.

One of the girls looked at my hand and said, "You don't have a ring!" I said, no sweetie, I sure don't. She said, "BUT WHY!!!" What do you say to that?!?!?. .. So, I told her I wasn't going to have a ring for a really long time and she just looked at me like I had 3 heads. She just couldn't understand it! oooh, it was so funny! Davinka laughed.

Next week we are talking about David and Saul- that should be a safe topic!
