Friday, I watched the Kelderman children. I decided to make bread with them. This is me and Emma "kneading" the dough. It was really more like pounding!

Here is my little buddy Caden- he wanted to go for a ride and off he went!
I have learned a lot about softball and baseball since coming to Iowa and I have learned a bit about pitching. Here we are playing some softball. I would tell Caden to swing the bat and then I would throw the ball! He hit it a few times.
After lunch we decided to go down to the creek and explore. Here is Lewis and Clark- aka Ethan and Emma.

We found all sorts of animals, this little caterpillar being the main attraction.
Now... why is it that we wore great big gum boots?... hum.
Emma wanted a closer look at the caterpillar and the poor thing sure got looked over!
.... And then we have Tarzan! Ethan found a vine and it withstood some serious swinging!
Emma, testing the vine to see if it was strong enough to hold her! We had a great time and the good thing about playing in the creek is that the kids are pretty sleepy for nap time..... and so was I!
