Berry Picking on the Farm

On the Fourth of July, Angie and I went to pick berries on her grandparent's farm. They have "bunches of bushes growing wild!" We had visions of making blackberry jam, and ice cream and muffins and all sorts of stuff. So, off we went!!!

We found some and started picking!

and picking...

And we made the HAUL!!! There must have been... 30.... whole... blackberries! Can you bleieve it! HaaHaa! We were too late in the season because the birds had eaten many of them already. But, there were several nice ripe ones.

While on the farm, we did a little exploring, and I liked this old tractor.

Just call me "Farmer Lee!"

On the way home, we saw some beautiful flowers- wild lillies growing on the side of the road,

So, we picked a bunch.

When we got home we decided to enjoy our spoils (slim as they were) over Ice Cream!

yuuuummmm.....
