The Art institute

Saturday morning, we got up and were off to the Art Institute! This is a picture of the "El" in Chicago. Waiting for the train.
Angie and Hanalee on the train.
When we got to the art institute, we found out that we hit the jackpot! Saturday was their first day of "The Silk Road" exhibition and it was free until noon! It was an exhibition about Asia and they had all kinds of interesting Asian artifacts on display and Asian programs.

One of these programs was Indian dancers! I was so excited! They were showing traditional Indian dances that tell stories about their different gods. This one is about Krishna.

Then, we walked around and looked at paintings the rest of the morning, it was really interesting and we had a great time! Here is Pug and I taking a little break.
When we decided it was time for lunch, we went outside and it was starting to rain. We looked down the street and could see the rain coming toward us. And, of course, I had to wip out the camera and take a picture. If you look way down the street, you can see the fog.
So, we ate lunch in a little cafe called Cosi's. Here is Bethany and Pug relaxing.
After lunch, we went into a bag shop and tried on sunglasses. Aren't we just a bunch of hotties!
