I woke up this morning to a beautiful engraving on my window...
So, after lunch, AJ and I took a walk around the lake. It has been below freezing for several days now and this is what we found...
ICE!!!
We traced the tracks of this deer and came to the conclusion ... he didn't like the ice.
AJ testing the water... it was solid. 
A snow angle!
AJ not falling on the ice
AJ falling on the ice...
... And down he went...
Reason #1 why not to play on the ice.
