What to do with Pumpkin

This Holiday, we did a lot with pumpkins. So, if you have ever wondered what in the world to do with a pumpkin, here is an idea! Start by cutting the pumpkin in half and taking all the seeds out. Cut off the edges so you are left with the meat of the pumpkin.
Put them in a pot and boil them until they are mushy.
Take and dry the seeds. They are sort of slimy critters- don't let them get away!
I take half of the seeds and mix them with seasoning salt, or any kind of savory spice you prefer. Mix it in so that the seeds have a good coating. You con't need to add oil because th seeds are already moist.
With the other half, I mix cinnamon, sugar and bit of melted butter together until all the seeds are coated. Then, put these two different mixes in two different pans and into the oven at 375 until the savory ones begin to get brown and the sweet ones begin to carmalize.
The rest of the pumpkin ought to be getting soft and mushy.
Straine it...
And blend it with your pumpkin pie ingredients. You can use whatever recipe you have and it will work just fine.
This is the sweet seeds that come out in clusters and are quite good!
And the savory ones... which are also quite good.
And the pumpkin pie!
We use heavy cream and whip it up to put on top!
