This weekend, AJ and I were able to come down from Iowa to Kentucky. We were able to spend the 4th of July weekend with our parents! On the 4th, there was a huge parade and we went to see it. There were trucks and tractors and all kinds of different groups with floats. Here are a few pictures.

Later that afternoon, we played a slightly competitive game of croquet. 
Then... as always- fireworks! We walked down to the small lake where they shoot them off- and brought some of our own sparklers!
