We found them with little trouble.
At first, they were a little wary of us...
But they came closer...
...and closer...
Until they were surrounding our 4 wheeler.
I love horses, but I am still quite nervous around them. Lets think about it- half ton animals who could trample us in an instant surrounding our get-away-car. All of them want to be petted and the ones who are not being pet, nip and bite the ones who are being pet. Then, they start kicking each other and bucking. It was quite a precarious situation to me. Melodee did much better with it but I must admit I was happy to get away unscathed.
