Day 40
And we're off!!!
Up the Pacific Coast Highway we go! What a beautiful drive!
We stopped along the side of the road to see a herd of elephant seals sunning themselves on the sand.
Seagulls
The prettiest elephant seal we found.

That night, we camped in the redwoods. We were in line to get a site and they only had 1 left- we were getting a little nervous and weren't even sure we would get to spend the night. It was finally our turn and the guy said they didn't really have much but then he asked if we were quiet. We said "yeah" and he told us he would give us the best camp sight in the whole place. . . in the employee area. So, we were the last ones to get a camp sight and we were very happy. It was a little spot down a path by the creek; you can see it in the background. It was a cool night, but we really enjoyed our camp sight.
