Legal Ceremony

The legal ceremony was held in a tiny office down town, both our our families crowded into the space to watch them sign and exchange vows and rings.
While we were on the way, Philip was on the back of our SUV. He took the ring out to look at it and at that moment, dad hit a pot hole and put on the breaks. The ring jumped out of Philip's hand and onto the floor. It rolled forward and out of Philips' sight. I looked back and Philip had a goofy look of horror on his face and told everybody not to move. Before we got out, Philip found the ring in front of mom's seat (all the way to the front!) but it was safe! These are the kinds of things you laugh about happening, but don't ever expect to happen. We weren't laughing at the time, but is sure is funny now! Signing papers
Very serious...

The couple's hands Philip explaining the plan- go to back to his apartment and then out to eat.
It is an Indian custom to boil milk and let it spill on the floor as a sign of abundance. So, we went over to the apartment Philip and Grace will be living in and boiled milk and made tea!
