Last night our South African friends came over!
They came for tea at 4:00 and stayed for dinner. We had a wonderful time! The kids came- Clara (5) and John (3). They are so cute! We put on Nemo and they watched with intent interest.
They have a lot of fish in their house, so during dinner, John stood up on his chair and waved his little hands about and ran over to my dad and said "fishes?" Dad didn't really understand what he was saying and so John put his hands on top of his head and stood on his toes and said "feeshees?"
Then, we understood and dad said, "Sorry, we don't have any fish." He looked at us a little funny and then went back to his seat and continued colouring his fish. What kind of weird house doesn't have feeshees?
