Christmas Ribbons

Fact: My mother is not a decorator.
Fact: This is my parent's first Christmas in India.
Fact: We have 2 Christmas decorations.
Fact: I bought them in Ooty.
They are one red ribbon- 2 meters long and one green ribbon- 4 meters long.

Fact: We don't get many Christmas cards.
Fact: If they do come, it is at the end of January.

I was thinking about what we could do to make this house a bit more Christmas-like and festive. This morning, it hit me!

I made Christmas cards, strung them on a green ribbon, and hung them above our huge kitchen doorway.

I got pictures off our computer and glued them onto 3x5 cards and put holes in the sides. I hung it in the doorway and everybody who walks in says, "You have all those Christmas cards already!" You can't even tell they aren't real! I was quite proud of myself. I thought about writing on the back of them "Merry Christmas from Soandso" but decided not to.

So, I have one red ribbon left and am out of ideas- what should I do with it!?
