Days in Lyon

Today we went all over the city! We started in the old part of the city. We had a great tour guide, Guillaum, a friend of Jonathan and Kari's.

Here I am with Kari and Megan looking out an old window.

This is at typical street in Old Lyon.

Guillaum, me and Meg looking at an old well.

The Old city is full of tunnels, like this one, that were used as streets. The main streets all went the same direction- toward the river. But, because there were no streets to connect them, they made these tunnels, which served that purpose.

An old street lamp- which are still used in the city.

A HUGE door leading to one of the houses in the Old Town.

One of the many cafes in Lyon.

Later that day, Kari and I went bike riding in a beautiful park.

We had a great time!

Last night, we made Indian food for supper!

I told them they had to eat with their hands!

And look as silly as I do!

Guillaum (right) wasn't too sure about the hand thing, but he was a good sport!
