France!!!

I am in France! I got here a few days ago and we have been going all around the city. Lyon, the city where Jonathan and Kari stay, is famous for its many murals painted throughout the city. Today Kari and I went downtown and saw this as we came out of the metro....

We were looking at it so closely sure that part of it was a painting, but not sure which part was real. Until, we kept walking around the side of the building and saw this...

The whole thing is one ONE wall of ONE building! We walked back and forth looking as tourist as it gets, appalled at ourselves yet intrigued at that mural.

Lyon was originally settled by Romans and so all throughout the city are Roman ruins. Part of those ruins are aqueducts. This is where the water used to flow, but is now open.

This is a cathedral that sits at the highest point in Lyon.

This is a typical street in Lyon.
