Spring has Sprung!

It has been so cold in Iowa for so long and now, we are into spring for sure! It was 75 and sunny today (wahoo) and I spent most of the day outside. These tulips are growing on the side of my house.

I have been working at Pella Hospital every night for 2 weeks- that is 14 days I'll have you know and I have not had a break. So... I am going to get Easter weekend off and a girl said she would work for me today and part of the week so I have Wed- Sun off and I am SO excited!

I started today off by going to a thrift shop looking for nothing in particular and found this wonderful little vanity-dresser thing. I have been wanting a desk that is kinda low to the ground, and it was absolutely perfect!

So, I called my friend Aaron to come with his pick up truck (as seen) and help me take it to my house. It came in three pieces: the desk, the mirror and the mirror support. I didn't really want all of it, but it was kind of a package deal. So... Aaron helped me carry it all up to my room and I am working on making it at home.

Then, I went for a bike ride at the park. It took me a while to find it- you know me and directions! But, once I got there, all was good and it was so much fun. The grass was green and the air was cool and it was so nice to be outside. . . except that my bum is starting to feel all that exercise!

Tomorrow, Aaron and I are going up to Des Moines. I am going to hang out with my friend Angie and spend the night with her. I'll take more pictures on my camera and post them later!
