Birthday

Happy Birthday to me. As you all know, it has taken me . . . oh, say six weeks to actually do something with my website. So, my birthday was May 5, several weeks ago, and here are the pictures from it.

My Birthday cake. I had a picnic birthday party and didn't feel like baking a cake. So, here is my cake. Bavarian cream filled donuts with candles on top. I was in heaven.

I had sandwiches and salads for my guests and we really had a lovely time.

After eating our fill of donuts, we played croquet through a soaked field. It was truly grand.

We were out at the lake, which I might add was beautiful in Early Spring.

We walked down to the dock and sat for a while. This is Angie and Krystal.

On the way back, they dared me that I couldn't climb this tree that goes out above the water. Well, me being me, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to prove them wrong (and climb a tree I have wanted to climb every day since I saw it) So, up the tree I went.

It was a great day.
