One of the days we were in Chicago, we went Cemetery Hopping.
We visited my mother's parent's graves.
Here below is Vernon and Helen Hoth, my grandparents.

Then, we went to see my mom's father's side of the family. This is my Great grandmother's gravestone. She was my grandfather's mother. She died at the age of 23 of Influenza. Her father buried her in his plot, so she is with her mother and father, who are under another name.
My Great Grandmother
We didn't know where the gravestone was, so one of the guys who worked at the Cemetery took us out and showed us the stone. The "paper" he used to look up the plot was linen fabric. It is 100 years old, and still in use.

He asked us if we wanted a carbon copy of the engraving and we said "Sure". So, he copied it for us.

Then, we went to my mom's mother's side of the family. Here is my mom by their gravestone.
