Day 14
Today, we went up Pikes Peak! We took the Cog railroad up the mountain. "Cog" railway means it is made of these pieces, so the train is actually being propelled up the mountain rather than dragged by a locomotive. On the ride up...
Some points had a 25% grade, which means that for every 100 feet, we gained 25 feet in elevation.
We made it to the top and here we are at 14,110 feet!
