We spent the first part of our day waiting for the mechanic. We got a new radiator put in our truck seeing as we kept overheating and as it turns our radiator was completely clogged. So, we hung out in Tennessee for the morning and by 3:20 in the afternoon, we were on our way! The sky was looking quite dark, so we wanted to get across the Mississippi before it flooded too much more.

The Mississippi River.

We got into Missouri and expected to see a welcome center to get a map. None came. So, we stopped at the first gas station we saw and they had all the maps for the surrounding states, but no Missouri. The next gas station didn't sell maps anymore. The next gas station didn't have any. The next convenience store also didn't have any. Here was the conversation between myself and the guy at the store:
"Would you happen to have a map of Missouri?"
"No. We don't. Why do you need a map?"
"Well, we aren't sure where we need to go."
"But, you are in Missouri. Why do you need a map of Missouri. You are already here."
"Thank you for your help"
I made my exit. . . wow.
We went to Wal-Mart, all kinds of stores and about the 11th one, we found a map of Missouri. By that time, we had passed several times through the town. One of the best things we saw was a man on his lawnmower ON his front porch watching us go back and forth in search of a map. I am sure we were quite amusing.
This is a picture of the sunset where we spent the night.
