Minor Setback

Melodee and I had originally planed to leave this week on our cross-country adventure. But, we had a minor setback. I was having some trouble breathing, so we went to the emergency room and long story short I have "bilateral pulmonary emboli". Basically, I have blood clots in my lungs, making it hard to breath. So, we are hanging out in South Carolina (the starting point for our journey) until I can breathe easily all day long. Not sure how long that will take.

But, on the brighter side, Melodee and I are looking at this situation more like a chance to reflect and asking the Lord what we can learn and how we can grow.

Your trip sounds great. I look forward to keeping up with you guys through the blog - so keep it updated! :)

I'm glad you made the wise decision to go to the ER. Be safe and take care of yourself, Hanalee.

Love, K
