Day 29

Often when we leave a place, we are ready to head out and see what is next. We didn't feel that way about Colorado. We were sad to leave, but our next destination was Utah- so off we went. The road was beautiful and we saw the mountains give way to rocks and rocks give way to desert.

We camped on the Colorado River with huge rock structures surrounding us. . . along with huge mosquitoes. To avoid being eaten alive, we hurried up and ate supper, set up the truck to sleep and were in bed at 9:00. We looked at each other and said, "Well, here we are!" Needless to say, we were awake for an hour before drifting off to sleep.
