Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree!
It is time to "trim" the tree! So, I bought a real Christmas tree. Angie and I set it up- after several attempts and tree tumbles on the floor, but that is another story. Here is my puppy, watching us and thinking "... what are you doing?"

This is a wall hanging I made. It has Christmas carols from a hymn book behind an old window pane.

I had this great idea about making "garland" out of popcorn, but I really can't remember the last time I made popcorn on the stove. So, couldn't remember just how much popcorn to put in the bottom of the pan. The result was a bit ... much. I had an overflowing pot of popcorn. I discovered that my dog loves popcorn, who knew!?!
Angie spending hours threading popcorn! I have heard of people who do this every year and eventually get sick of it and simply throw popcorn at the tree ... that may be the case next year...

It is a lovely tree. I think I'd probably resort to the throwing popcorn idea, but you're much more at ease with a needle and thread than I am anyway.
I love your wall hanging. It's beautiful, and such a great idea.
I imagine I'd end up eating more popcorn than stringing them!
I like your tree and I wish it came even close to snowing here in Bombay... but no such luck... Looks like its going to be a hot and humid Christmas for us! ;)

Your tree looks great! I've had the same "too much popcorn" experience when making it on the stove. I have an air popper that I think is the way to go - easier and faster than the stove but healthier than the microwave. And...our dog loves popcorn too!!
Enjoy your decor!
