Ann Arbor, Michigan

Last week, I went to visit my sister in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is there for an internship in speech therapy this summer. You may guess by its name, this city is full of trees! It is also full of beautiful old buildings, and as an admirer of all things old, I took several pictures...
One afternoon, we had lunch and Zingerman's, which is a very local thing to do. They serve gourmet sandwiches, and may I just say that these sandwiches are awesome! The bread is wonderful, meat and cheeses and toppings divine- wow, what a meal! I didn't take a picture of it because I was busy eating it!Me with my sister
and Angie!
Later, we visited the farmer's market- they had some great stuff!!!

Our last full day in Ann Arbor, we decided to take a canoe and kayak up the Huron River.
Ruthie decided to get a kayak, even though she had never done it before and had no idea what to do- she got the hang of it, though!

Angie took a spin in the kayak as well!

We had a great trip and I was so happy to see my sister!!!
