I am getting ready to go back to America and have been getting "American Culture" lessons from my parents and learning all kinds of things about American culture.
Here is a list of a few of them.
In America...
"Ground" cloves don't involve a hammer.
Red Skelton was a comedian.
Cracker Jacks are peanuts and caramel corn that people eat at baseball games.
They have microwaves.
Chicago has 2 baseball teams. (why?)
The light sequence is red, green, yellow. Not red, yellow, green yellow.
They have snow!
There is no such team as the Texas Cowboys. It is the Dallas Cowboys and they are a football team.
Football is not soccer. It is the dogpile game. More like rugby.
The power stays on.
No monkeys in the street. Or cows, or horses, or donkeys, or elephants...
The coins are really light and small.
No need to write "USA" below your address. People know that is where you live.
SO... Do you think I am ready for America! Tell me what else I need to know!

Things I learned when moving back to America:
- it's called Diet Coke, not Coke Light
- there are also Caffeine-free, Cherry, Vanilla, Lemon, and Lime versions
- toilet paper is not pink, green, yellow, or blue, but only white
- the closest WC is in England
- you watch a football game, not match
More lessons to come in January!
